Sotech was appointed as the Construction Management Consultant to complete this resort project in 2011, successfully delivering it on time and within budget. Following this achievement, Sotech was again entrusted in 2013 as the main contractor for the resort’s major upgrade.
The upgrade works included the complete redesign of all penthouses, each ranging from 80 to 160 square meters, with the addition of private rooftop gardens featuring Jacuzzis, covered lounge areas, and sun decks. Two of the 110-square-meter two-bedroom penthouses were reconfigured into three-bedroom units to better accommodate families.
Enhancements also included a brand-new reception area with a back office, as well as 300 square meters of newly constructed basement space beneath existing buildings for administrative use. A rooftop bar and sundeck were designed and built above the central restaurant, while a new pine wood sundeck was installed adjacent to the main pool.
To ensure reliability and comfort for guests, a full generator system was installed, capable of supplying electricity to the entire resort during power outages—an essential upgrade for this area of Phuket.
